Big Spring VA
On September 28, 2011, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract to provide the Big Spring VA with a Lockout Tagout procedures/policy development and update for all equipment.

VISN 5
On September 28, 2011, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract with VISN 5 to conduct Comprehensive Environmental Audits on five major facilities in Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

APG LTM
On August 15, 2011, HGS Engineering won the Long Term Management Contract for Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen Maryland.  This project entails the comprehensive management of all major compliance issues associated with APG.

Blue Bird Corporation
On August 1, 2011, Blue Bird Corporation awarded HGS Engineering a contract to conduct a full Lockout/Tagout survey for its facilities in Fort Valley, Georgia.

VISN 22
On July 28, 2011, HGS Engineering won a contract with VISN 22 to conduct Comprehensive Multimedia Environmental Audits at 5 VA Hospitals in Southern California.

VA Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas
On July 1, 2011, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas to conduct an Asbestos Re-Inspection and prepare a facility-wide Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Plan.

VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky
On July 1, 2011, the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 9, awarded HGS Engineering a contract to conduct a full Lockout/Tagout survey for the VA Medical Centers located in Lexington, KY.

VA Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi
On January 27, 2011, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract with the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi to conduct a full Air Emissions Inventory and update the facility Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan.

Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District
On December 31, 2010, the Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District issued a modification to our existing contract to add funds and extend HGS’ period of performance through the end of FY 2011. HGS currently assists the Corps of Engineers, New England Division efforts in support of the Formerly Utilized Defense Site Information Improvement Program (FIIP). 

VISN 4 (Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia)
On December 6, 2010, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 (Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia) awarded HGS a contract to conduct commissioning and retro-commission studies at all their medical treatment facilities. The effort is focused on maximizing utility and infrastructure efficiency, reconfiguration and realignment based on current functionality. Work will begin in late January 2011 and will be completed in 2012.

VISN 15
On December 2, 2010, the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15 awarded HGS a contract to assess the performance of the Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) as required by the Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) between Eastern Kansas Health Care System (EKHCS) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VII.

Georgia Army National Guard
On December 1, 2010, the Georgia Army National Guard identified HGS Engineering, Inc. Anniston, AL as the successful offeror for the update of the GA Army National Guard Hazardous Material and Waste Management Plan.

Blue Grass Chemical Agent Pilot Plant
On November 23, 2010, the facility construction certification contract that governs HGS' RCRA oversight was modified to include tank installation certification services.

VISN 19
On September 30, 2010, The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 19, has awarded HGS Engineering a Lockout/Tagout survey for VA Medical Centers and outpatient clinics in Grand Junction, CO and Sheridan, WY.   HGS is currently providing similar services to VA facilities in VISNs 7 and 18.

U.S. Army Aviation Center and Ft. Rucker, AL
On September 27,2010, HGS and its partner, H&S Resources Corp., were awarded a multi-year contract to perform base-wide support services.

National Park Service
On September 17, 2010, The National Park Service at the Big Cypress National Preserve has awarded HGS Engineering a contract to conduct remedial activities at a lead and arsenic impacted former firing range.  HGS had conducted the initial site assessment for the NPS.
