VA Tuscaloosa, AL
On May 25, 2010, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract to develop a Control of Hazardous Energy Program/Plan for the Department of Veterans Affairs facility at Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This tasking includes development of a Control of Hazardous Energy Program/Plan for the facility, development of machine-specific LOTO procedures, and the conduct of training for all affected personnel on site.

Tennessee Army National Guard, Nashville, TN
On May 25, 2010, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract to provide twenty-seven 1-day/8 instructional hour Shop Level Environmental Workshops for the Tennessee Army National Guard to certify compliance with the RCRA hazardous waste generator training requirements outlined in 40 CFR 262 and 265. In conjunction with the training task, perform site inspections of all HM/HW storage areas to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective action.

Big Cypress, FL
On April 20, 2010, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract by the National Parks Service to conduct a hazmat survey of an abandoned range on Big Cypress National Preserve in Florida. The survey includes records review, sampling, and the preparation of a Corrective Action Plan.

VA Albuquerque, NM
On April 1, 2010, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract to update the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plan at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM.

VA Danville. IL
On March 26, 2010, HGS Engineering was awarded a contract from the Department of Veteran's Affairs, in Danville, IL. The contract involves reassessment of the Medical Center’s asbestos report by an accredited Asbestos Inspector.
